Como año a año, la revista Time eligió a las 100 personas más influyentes de la vida cotidiana y el futuro de todo el planeta. En la lista, dividida en categorías (líderes y revolucionarios, heroes, artistas, científicos, etc.) se encuentran George Bush (obvio), Condoleezza Rice, el ex presidente Bill Clinton y el presidente de Venezuela, Hugo Chávez. También Clint Eastwood, Michael Moore, Juanes (?), Tarantino, Dan Brown (el autor de El Código Da Vinci), Bill Gates, el Dalai Lama y varios más.
Como siempre, ya hay un par de quejas sobre las ausencias, porque en la lista (hecha por los Editores y responsables de la revista) no figuran los presidentes de Francia, Jacques Chirac, y de Rusia, Vladimir Putin. Tampoco Juan Pablo II, Lula ni Bono.
Entiendo perfectamente lo de Clint Eastwood. Un hombre que ha sido El Jinete Palido, Josey Welles y William Munney tiene que ser oido a la hora, como bien dices, de cortar el bacalao.
